Fa. Welte & Söhne, Freiburg

This old picture shows impressively the size of the Freiburg Welte factory.

In comparision with many other companies like Aeolian, Hupfeld, Loesche, etc, who did a lot of advertising, Welte seems to be much more reserved.

For example, it was easy, to find about 50 ads from Hupfeld within a few month, but it took me years to find only a few ads from Welte.
