Around 1920, the Hupfeld company offered an additional side cabinet for the standard Animatic-S- piano with drums (and additional 12-note Xylophone), which could be placed on the right side of the instrument. | ||

Who ever had the chance to listen to a good restored Hupfeld Animatic -S- with drum cabinet will be surprized about its lively music. Original old drum cabinets are very rare today. Some years ago, we had an Animatic -S- instrument with an old drum cabinet in the workshop and we were so impressed by its good music, that we decided spontaneously to make some copies of the drum cabinet. | ||||||
